Porter Swamp Company provides an online outlet for products we grow,
produce or find useful and wish to share with our customers.
|
|
|
|
Our major product is bamboo which we grow at
Nobles Century Farm.
We give tours of our bamboo groves and sell fresh-dug bamboo by appointment.
We also ship our products throughout the mid-Atlantic region.
We market some of our flowers, mostly
geophytes (bulbs, corms, rhizomes, tubers). We are particularly
interested in heirloom flowers and in Hippeastrums (commonly known
as Amaryllis). We currently offer an heirloom Iris on our website and
we will be expanding our offerings sometime in the future.
We will be adding more publications on bamboo. Also we plan to offer
local historical and genealogical publications,
and other items we find "interesting".
