Bamboo is one of the most utilized plants in the
world. It can be used for crafts, privacy fencing or for beautiful
accents to any landscape. But, like most plants, uncontained bamboo can spread and become a nuisance.
We highly recommended that you install a barrier to prevent the
spread of the underground rhizomes. |

We recommend the geomembrane High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
manufactured by
DeepRoot. For most soils a 24 inch barrier
of 30 mil HDPE is sufficent. In very sandy soils, a 30 inch
barrier is recommended. Some vendors recommend thicker barrier,
but since the purpose of the barrieris to divert the rhizomes,
we have not found the thicker barriers necessary.

DeepRoot barrier is shipped to us in 300 feet rolls, but we cut and ship
the lengths indicated in the price chart below. (Full rolls are "drop shipped"
directly to you from DeepRoot.) We can also provide quotes on other DeepRoot
products.
The prices in the price chart include shipping by the method we determine
best for the weight, size and location.
For orders we ship to our North Carolina
customers, we must add 6.75% sales tax.
